Hi, I’m Dawn — the designer, maker, and mum behind Lara & Kin.

Based in a cosy corner of Cornwall, my seaside studio is where all the magic happens. With two imaginative children as my daily inspiration, I create joyful, modern designs for little ones and the grown-ups who love them. From playful wall art to colourful clocks and thoughtful nursery décor, every piece is made to spark joy and celebrate childhood in all its wonder.

Before launching Lara & Kin, I spent over 8 years designing for boutiques around the world — and even had the honour of seeing my work stocked globally through IKEA. Now, I pour that same design passion and experience into creating keepsake-quality pieces that help families build spaces full of love, colour, and character.
